About Optimise Occupational Therapy Cowra

Sarah founded Optimise Occupational Therapy Cowra in 2023. Graduating from Curtin University (Western Australia) in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science Occupational Therapy, Sarah has worked in various regions of Australia, including South West WA, East Kimberley, Geelong and the Bellarine, Central West and regional & remote NSW.

Bringing a wealth of experience with custom and complex equipment, Sarah’s interest areas include:

  • Specialised seating

  • Wheelchair assessment and scripting

  • 24-hour positioning

  • Equipment prescription such as; beds, mattresses, shower chairs and commodes, hoists and slings. 

Sarah is passionate about optimising the lives of rural and remote people living with a disability or injury. This has stemmed from being raised on a farm in the Great Southern region of WA, where services are limited and difficult to access without travelling away from home. 

Optimise Occupational Therapy Cowra is driven to provide accessible, innovative and holistic services within your everyday home environment. Sarah aims to optimise clients’ independence and function, in all activities of daily living, and help clients to live their best lives by delivering high quality and evidence-based services.
